Learning Opportunities Team

The KCHS Internship program has been designed and created in collaboration with local business and community partners committed to the success of KCHS students and workforce development in the San Diego region. The "King-Chavez Learning Opportunities Team" (KCHS LOT) began meeting in the fall of 2009 to create an internship program that meets the goals of KCHS students and the needs of the ever-changing workforce in the San Diego region. In addition to the development of the internship program, the KCHS LOT supports our Community Service Initiatives (CSI), Power Lunch Guest Speaker Program, Job Shadow Events, Community Outreach Efforts, and other unique learning opportunities.
