Job Shadow Events

In partnership with Junior Achievement, KCHS sends 10th grade students into the workplace to learn about careers, professionalism and opportunities in the real-world of work. JA introduces students to careers through a one-day or half day site orientation and pairs students up with site "Connectors" who spend the day with one of two students. Job shadows are an authentic work-world experience for the students, enhanced with classroom preparatory and follow-up activities.
